Fact Face OffMost swimming fans know that Kara Lynn Joyce and Alice Mills are two of the fastest women in their respective countries. Put them on the blocks in the 50m free, and it’s going to be an interesting race. But how do their interests match up outside the pool? For instance, what is their favorite piece of clothing? Or, what three people, living or dead, would they have dinner with? Those questions aren’t as obvious… Since every athlete has interests outside of swimming, we want to give you the chance to get to know some of Team USA and Australia’s top stars – on a more personal level. Each Thursday from now until the Mutual of Omaha Duel in the Pool, we will feature an intriguing match-up between an American and an Aussie. But instead of looking at the swimming stats, this will be a Face Off of their interests. |
